An Invitation to Rikuzentakata
As part of celebrating the 30th anniversary of JASID, we will organize
the 20th Spring Conference at the Rikuzentakata Global Campus in
Rikuzentakata city (Iwate Prefecture) on June 15 (Saturday), 2019.
Rikuzentakata is one of the most affected cities from the Tsunami
caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011.
This will be a great opportunity to re-consider the meaning of
“development” from the present day reconstruction sites.
